Review on GE 6 Outlet Protector Extension 54638 by David Naranjo

While I hate the way this power strip was made I gave it 3 stars because it's cheap and as durable as others in this price range. The extension cord is like most extension cords you pay $10 for. It's a cheap plastic part. The only thing that is heavy is the cable. It's ok since I paid $10 for it. However, I cannot use the product at all because the plug is configured in such a way that I can only plug it into a flat socket at the bottom. However, I have some outlets that can't use this type of plug at all, and I'm limited with other outlets as I can only use this type of plug in a floor outlet, which I don't have for most stores. So look at the connector configuration at the end of this cable. The way the plug lays flat with the cord and enters at an angle rather than parallel to the cord and straight into the outlet means I can't use this extension cord. So take a good look at the outlet where you intend to use this extension cord and make sure the plug isn't giving you any trouble.
