Review on Himawari Laptop Backpack Travel Charging Laptop Accessories by Sherri Williams

We've been flying a lot lately and I'm fed up with imperfect hand luggage. I need to bring electronics, my young child's tablet, headphones, paint, medication, a change of clothes, snacks, and other blah-blah. Mostly a mother pack mule. My sister, a teacher, took a similar bath which she loved. I was mesmerized by the wide opening, structured body and large interior space. I was sick. Death. about trying to hold on to a flexible backpack while roaming through endless nooks and crannies in a cramped airplane seat. I ordered this bag from a competitor but ended up skipping this one because of the larger size. Big mistake. Gigantic. I used it on a family trip to Chicago this week and it was a major flop due to a major bug. So that's what I was looking for at first glance. When traveling by plane, it was much easier to stow and retrieve from under the seat in front of me. It had all of the things I mentioned before (with the judicious use of mini pockets inside for organization) plus an inflatable child seat for taxi rides. But here's the thing. That hurts*. I have a few scratches and small bruises from this bag. As is my husband who is 8 inches taller and *cough* "leaner" on top. Because? Terrible, horrible metal sliders used to adjust the straps. As you can see in the picture these sliders are solid edges. While they are theoretically rounded, their thin nature means that every time you put your bag on or off, bring your hands together, straighten or straighten your arms, etc., these slides dig into the soft spots under the side, etc. that weight of the bag (which can be significant given its size) and is absolutely dangerous to remove or put on. I had a long scrape within the first hour from having a sleeveless shirt and trying to quickly remove my bag to board the airport shuttle. We ended up having to wrap them in surgical tape to use the bag without injury. I suspect this shortcoming is compounded by the fact that the padded straps are too short, meaning the sliders protrude further into the armpits when the bag is full. slides. They are too tight and keep loosening due to the texture, especially when the bag is heavier. They just aren't doing their job. I'm sad I can't return the bag now that I've used it. I'll either have to replace the flip flops and straps myself (which will definitely require a lot of disassembly and sewing) or let it gather dust. What a waste.
