Review on ALTRA Womens AL0A4VR2 Torin Running Women's Shoes by Valerie Sullivan

I'm embarrassed by the number of shoes I've bought and returned, and I don't just mean Revain. Even in a well-known shoe store, they didn't get it right. I have a hammer toe on the longest toe of each foot. I have flat feet and plantar fasciitis. These shoes are the best I have ever worn on my 66 year old feet. Here's what I learned recently: the need for a wide toe box IS NOT the same as the need for wide shoes. Also there are no flat feet (I don't have any hard ones). They fit me perfectly in everything and I don't feel like I'm wearing Clodhoppers. Out of the box at 6am today I easily did 2.5. I walk in absolute comfort. 2.5 miles may not sound like much to most walkers/runners, but I'm new to the field and these shoes are my answer. I'm writing this review after immediately ordering a second pair. BTW - there is no latitude choice. On the inside of the size you can see "w". I do not know why. I ordered their standard 10 and can wiggle my toes but I don't have wide heels when walking which causes my heels to rub. I. It's just so beautiful! I've also learned that it's best to wear very low-cut socks to keep my ankles from sweating and itching. I hope my review will help someone deal with these issues.
