Upon opening from the box I was very pleased with the sound quality, real metal. One day I hung them on a dowel and started trying to break the bandages on my head. They're REALLY hard to squeeze, hence the clamp part opening up. I had to work really hard lol. BUT, once you press them once, it will be very easy afterwards. You are strong and strong. I don't feel like the rims will ever fall off. Due to the strength of the clips, I don't think our daughter can put her bandages on and off for long. As this is for our girl's nursery we'll be doing this for a while, but still. Overall I LOVE these clips. I am very happy with the quantity for the price as well as the quality. I WILL buy more for her headbands which she will continue to receive. ♥️10/10 recommend! 😊***Used on 3/4" dowels. All materials purchased from our local Home Depot.***
