My son is 6 years old with a small head and it doesn't fit. It also has no stretch. I have a small head for a grown woman and I can usually fit into children's hats. It's too tight, like a child's size. In fact, it's perfect for my 3 year old. My 6 year old can't even think of that. I figured some of the older kids in the reviews might fit mine as well as his head is small for his age. nope Nice, but that's all. If my son's small head doesn't fit, I can't think of a 6-7 year old with an average head size that would fit. So only small or small heads.
