This press is perfect when you just want to make small grilled cheese sandwiches and have no other option. I'm not sure where they got their measurements from on the sales page but I have the actual measurements in the images provided. Content on the counter in front of me. When I put it back on I found I had to hold the press the whole time as it was too small to use the latch. It warmed the sandwich well and was easy to peel, but it's not a press for me.
