Review on πŸ”§ Universal Compatible Replacement Membrane Solutions by Darth Calder

So far so good - seems like a good alternative to iSpring membrane

. built-in pressure gauge directly in front of the membranes). I installed two permanent inline TDS meters, one just in front of the membranes and one just after. The input was 250 TDS and the output was measured at around 9 TDS. This appears to be a solid failure between 96% and 97%. which approximately corresponds to the declared speed, especially taking into account the permissible error of the counter. If you're using a single diaphragm system, you can expect slightly better performance. Membranes running in series, like me, increase the output flux and reduce the amount of effluent, but slightly increase the final TDS output if you pass concentrated effluent from the first membrane to the second membrane. Measure the flow rate but it looks like these membranes are slightly faster than my previous membranes which were 200GPD membranes while these are 300GPD membranes. They don't feel 33% faster, but that may change as the filters become more polished. At the moment there are enough of them for use in the kitchen sink. I usually use iSpring membranes, which gave me almost identical results. I contacted iSpring to ask what the difference between their membranes and this one is, but they refused to answer. iSpring membranes are more than twice the price. I felt that no answer was sufficient and I risked that mark. So far, so good. If anything goes wrong with prolonged use I will update this review. I'm pretty sure most membranes are made by DOW Chemical and just have a white label for resale by various companies. Therefore, similar performance should probably be expected.
