Review on πŸ’» Dual Monitor Desk Mount - Adjustable Arm for Two 27 Inch Computer Screens, Max 17.6lbs - MOUNTUP MU0002 by Matt Vanlaere

reliable and durable great addition

I've had this stand for over a month now and it works great. The brackets are attached to the same mounting clip on the vertical stand, therefore it is not possible to adjust the height of the left and right screens separately. Each screen's VESA mounting plate has a fine adjustment screw that allows each screen to be adjusted about 1/2 inch vertically, but that's about it. Both of my screens are Viewsonic and Hannspree (both 22 inches) and they can only be aligned to 1/4 inch at best. The pictures show that the Hannspree adjustment screw is in the lowest position and the ViewSonic screw is in the highest position. There are no limits when it comes to positioning screens horizontally. The two arms are fully adjustable and have screws on all connections so they can be tightened - no slow drifting (or turning) of the screens after adjusting to the desired setting ! The installation is very easy. All the tools needed were included and there's even a clip on the workstand to stow the allen wrenches after you're done. Whilst I must say the instructions were minimal and probably the reason for some of the negative reviews on this product I think these buyers were not overly mechanical and did not fully understand what they were doing. The way my desk is set up was I just drilled a hole in it to fit the rod over the desk. The secure clamping system is big enough to hide the work. It also fills and mounts through a hole on most cubic workstations designed for computer cable routing. Solid and strong. I would buy this product again if needed!

Pros
  • Free up space on your desktop. A solid base supports two monitor arms, helping you save desk space and reduce clutter. Cable clips organize and protect cables. Just enjoy working, gaming or watching movies in a more comfortable environment.
Cons
