As a mother of a toddler who enjoys going to the beach, I wanted my baby to have adequate sun protection when splashing in the water. The shirt was easy to put on and take off and was perfect for my 12 month old. The material was comfortable and breathable, which is important when you're dealing with a constantly moving toddler. Although the water didn't seem to soak into the fabric, I noticed that the material didn't dry as quickly as I would like. This made my child feel a bit uncomfortable after getting out of the water as the wet shirt was stuck to his skin. UPF 50+ is a great feature and the comfortable fit is a plus. However, the slow-drying fabric may cause discomfort to the child after leaving the water.
