I give 5 stars for a very low price and fast delivery. I bought these shoes for swimming on rocky beaches and rivers. They protect my feet well enough in these situations and are definitely worth the $10 I paid for them. The mesh upper allows water to drain easily and is great for swimming. I usually wear a size 7.5 but these shoes only come in whole sizes so I ordered a size 8 which is a bit large. An adjustable heel strap ensures a snug fit, and they sit high on the foot to keep them in place. For $10, I wasn't expecting any support or cushioning, and as expected, the outsole is relatively thin and not great for long distances. These shoes are NOT comparable to more expensive "amphibian shoes" like Keen, Tiva etc. but are useful for swimming in rocky areas. The only possible downside: they emit noxious chemical fumes, which is typical of this species. foam products. Based on my experience with this stuff, I expect the "gassing" to wear off within a few months, but for now I'll leave it outside on the porch because I really don't like the smell inside the house.
