These lights work really well and when they receive enough charge, they really stand out. The trick to having bright lights is getting the solar panel in a location that receives enough light to recharge. My front yard doesn't get much direct sunlight. One panel I was able to get in a location that had about 5 hours of direct sun every day. This strand of light glowed brightly from sundown till close to midnight. The second strand only received ambient light but still managed to glow for about 4 hours but not as brightly as the other strand. Next year, I plan on putting the solar panels in different locations. I would buy again.
