I ordered this for my MIL as a Christmas present. He has severe macular degeneration and we hope this will help her with her vision. She hasn't opened the gift at this point, so I'll update if possible, but I opened the package and installed the app myself to test its use. Easy download of the application on the iPhone. The microscope is quick to set up and has a handle to hold it steady, which I think would be very helpful for them. The actual manual for this device is very small, so we were able to enlarge it and read it in the app. She has an iPad so I told her to put everything on it so she has more room to see. We're hoping for success as her current scanner is quite large and cumbersome to use, while this device is lightweight and something she can carry around to help.
