I have the 5500k daylight version. It's a bit lacking in brightness compared to my Aputure 528, but it has fewer LEDs and a lower price point, so not surprising. The 5500k has a bit of a green cast to it, even compared to my Yongnuo YN360 "icelight". The good thing is that you can adjust the RGB a bit to compensate. I actually had to set the blue to 70% for the daylight color to match my other Yongnuo. Not sure if this is the standard for this light or just a lack of quality control. It's a bit of a shame that you have to use RGB for balancing as one of the potentially useful aspects of this light is that it actually only needs one battery, depending on what you're doing. One battery powers the daylight LEDs, the other powers the RGB circuitry. With full use of daylight, RGB lighting generally has a fairly negligible impact. My conclusion is that if you're looking for a great daylight LED panel this isn't it (it works in a pinch) but if you want to blast your background or subject with bold, saturated colors this is it probably the best deal you'll find as the cheapest similar RGB light I've come across is $300. I would rather choose a different YN360 RGB than the others as this stick's form factor is a bit more useful.
