Ok so of course our the box they are AMAZING so comfortable and they are some what firm in the arches almost to much so at 1st but after a few minutes walking around you dont really feel it should be a short break in. They are brand new so they are great love the look love the padding even the bottom is grippy will be warm in the winter. But as someone that wears slippers at home at all times (cold wood floors) i use and kill about 2 pairs a year the good ones the padding normally last longer than the soles we will see how long these last, i can say this looking at them they are better than any Walmart or sears slipper or house shoes I've ever had the material is high quality and the stitching is great. so high hopes. UPDATE. been using them every day around the house sometimes the yard and they are already starting to fall apart so i do not recommend them. The extra arch support is gone after a week.
