I was concerned after reading dozens of reviews on this and other similar pads, but I liked the slightly jagged mids on these and the fairly transparent coloring, so I decided to give them a try. My first set lasted about a month before I relaxed, but ONLY AFTER I made the mistake of using an alcohol pad to remove oil from my face. The SMALL amount of alcohol applied to the nose pad of your glasses immediately penetrates under the nose pads and dissolves the adhesive. I saw what was happening and didn't repeat my mistake, my reward in the form of a second set I applied reliably stayed in place. I would also recommend NOT trying to change their position after they are first placed. It's best to just start with another, fresh gasket. The backing is a bit difficult to remove from the pads before application, but that's only because they're so small. Be patient, take your time and you will end up with a beautiful, comfortable and "factory" look for your glasses. I am very satisfied and will order again, although now that I know the secrets it may be a while before I need another box.
