Pros: - Supports 4K resolution at 60Hz - Full matrix switching between 4 HDMI inputs and 2 HDMI outputs - Simple remote control is easy to understand and use. No additional features distract from the main goal. Disadvantages/problems: - The device does not support volume control for the headphone output. Under Windows, the headphone output is so quiet at maximum operating system volume that it is almost imperceptible. On macOS, volume cannot be controlled on either the OS side (no output controls are recognized) or the device side, so it's locked at a deafening 100% volume. Either way, it's practically useless. The DIP switches didn't work for me in any of the highest modes (e.g. 4K@60Hz) and I had to use the default auto-sensing of DIP switch position to get 4K@60Hz resolution. Work. - The headphone jacks are on the front of the unit, but I wish they were like the other ports on the back. - The device does not have enough weight to hold it on the table when cables are connected to the connector. return. My HDMI cables are stronger and heavier than this unit, so it tends to hang in midair due to the cables' reentrant angle. - No remote control option to toggle audio output. You may have to manually move the headphones between ports A and B.
