I work at a coal mine in the outback and deer and elk are everywhere. The way I set it up points under my high beams when driving straight ahead, and it's actually legal. They excel at illuminating the street next to the street where the animals usually hang out and coming around corners. The 42 degree pattern is perfect as the speed limit is 55 so I needed more width than a blur. The switch overheated and burned out.
