Unreliable, breaks within days

The first collar we received didn't even work. The heart rate function worked, but I put my fingers on it at 20 and still felt nothing compared to when it first came up and I immediately felt a beat. It broke after a few days. He's never been near water or anything like that. We ordered a replacement and in less than a week this collar broke too. The shock function did not work again, although the pulse function works. This is a very unreliable product, especially considering how much it costs.
