Review on Cheer Powder Detergent 20 Oz by Jessica Morris

As previous reviewers have noted this is a VERY small box of detergent but it might be suitable for those who want to try before buying a larger box. now available as "HE Compatible", however the box I received was not marked as such and may not be the best option for users with front loaders or top loaders HEs. That being said, I tested it on a front loader and didn't get any excess foam. All in all, Cheer is an excellent cleaner for colored items. It's one of the few powdered laundry detergents in the US that's free of optical brighteners (you shouldn't use OBA laundry detergents on dark-colored clothing, as they leave a "dusty" residue that looks faded) and contains less oxygen. Bleach than ordinary Tide or Gain powder. All of this makes it a lot less prone to fading clothes, but at the same time it's a P&G product and the cleaning power is very good. It has a fairly pleasant aroma that isn't fruity like the current Tide/Gain offerings, but rather has a more traditional, clean flavor. The scent is medium strong (for reference I find Gain's scent strong) and lingers after blow drying. Overall a great product! FYI, Cheer e-liquids contain OBAs, which is why I prefer the powder.
