This product has fully met our requirements. We had multiple power strips routed under the furniture to provide our seating area with power for the lights, phone, chargers, etc. that we needed in our main office area and work area. I felt it was a fire/electric shock hazard. I found exactly what I needed in this product. It has 2 USB ports, 10 outlets and is surge protected. It also has coax outputs and phone jacks, which we don't use. One improvement suggestion is to include protection for pets and children by providing plugs for unused outlets. I taped them to protect them.
