Our piano is next to the children's toy. I was concerned about the sharp corner of the piano top and our kids pulling out toys and hitting their heads. I was looking for something that would soften the edge without ruining the piano's look. This step edge covering is perfect! It's see-through so not very visible - and it also offers cushioning on the underside where they would hit their heads. I leaned forward and hit the head as a test - as long as it still hurts, of course, no serious risk of injury! It was also good value for money and left me with a ton of extras to use when needed. Very easy to put on and holds up well. I even accidentally tightened it the wrong way round and had to re-attach it - it didn't remove the piano wood finish when I took it off and replaced it.
