Review on 🛏️ Washable Waterproof White Cotton Full Futon Mattress Cover - UltraBlock - Soft & Durable by Troy Williams

Didn't have to test the waterproofing and don't know how well the mite protection works, but it seems a decent mattress topper for the money. My Sleep Number twin XL is comfortable and not too hot. The only complaints I have are: 1) Washing according to the instructions is a bit painful and it takes a while for everything to dry. Ultrablock recommends washing before first use. After this first wash and another wash on the recommended Ultrablock program, the soft, flannel-like side looks like it's decomposing and trying to "clump" in the center of the cover. It doesn't feel uncomfortable, just not sure how long it will last. 2) Even when first laid on the bed it seems to fit a little less than snug and sometimes bunches up under the sheet by the end of the week. I've considered using some ratchet straps with soft clips to keep them tighter from side to side, but I don't know if the ultrablock elastic skirt is strong enough to use these straps. Maybe the problem is only with Sleep Number mattresses? (But my fitted sheets fit well, so.) It still seems decent enough - my previous mattress pads were expensive, didn't have these issues - but didn't survive the first wash. Time will tell how well it holds up and hopefully I never have to double check any claims about review confirmation! Update: After my review, the manufacturer contacted me and found that the original mattress topper may have been defective. They sent a new one for free. I asked her about using Amazon's Jajaplus bed sheet attachment straps to hold the pad in place and prevent it from folding under the sheet (garter style retainers instead of the sharp jagged clips found on most sheets) . They replied that they should work fine without damaging the seal. The new upholstery arrived a few days after we spoke and the Jajaplus straps fixed the crease issue under the sheet so all is great. Rerated 5 stars because: 1) The manufacturer follows user comments with an interest in quality control 2) They had a quick response and solution to the problem 3) They worked with me on an unusual request for their product (use of leaf belt) .
