Vernier Calipers are durable and accurate. I like them better than my other precision calipers because I get better readings from depth measurements. I attribute this to the robust construction of the caliper. With the Bluetooth function, I can log my measurements about twice as fast as manually. Calipers connect to my windows laptop and my linux laptop. Data entry was faster and more consistent compared to my Linux laptop. With my Linux laptop, I have to wait a bit longer after pressing the data button and sometimes the write doesn't go through on the first try. So I may have to click the data button 1 to 5 times before it shows up in the table. This happens about 20% of the time. Regardless, I'm still more productive than entering measurements manually. I have a linux laptop connected to monitors and the lid is closed. This can interfere with the Bluetooth signal compared to a Windows laptop where I have the lid open. Overall I am very satisfied with the product.
