I'm only giving 2 stars because 1. I love the color 2. I was able to achieve my intended style. This hair is not soft to the touch. I soaked in apple cider vinegar and a mild shampoo as I have a sensitive scalp and most hair can irritate me. When I took it out of the box and after washing my hair was rough and frizzy. The texture is reminiscent of Cuban twisted hair. The ends are tousled. There were also many small pieces in the packages that looked like cut ends. I used this hair for twists. Because the ends stuck out, it was difficult to hold the ends together. I had to carefully burn a few and comb some of the ends so they don't look so flimsy. I used to buy this brand and the hair was much softer and easier to work with, but this time I didn't care.
