Review on DIGITEN DC 12V 1/4" Inlet Feed Water Solenoid Valve Quick Connect N/C Normally Closed No Water Pressure by John Bones

Saw some reviews that this valve heats up… after about 20 minutes it reached 165 deg F. I’m going to cycle the valve to allow cool down. A better design would have heat sinks and electromagnetic designed wiring. This likely is built cheap and with little research… so wrong wire gauge and wrong materials.Saw another reviewer complaining about the valve clogging, but this is a water line/drinking water line. The orifice is tiny… if it is clogging, then you need to filter your water.
