Under the "Trade-In" program, they exchanged a defective and because of this Samsung S7 that had been in repair for a brand new "black diamond" S8. I have been using Samsung for a long time, before S7 was S5. The phone is incredibly beautiful, not at all big. You understand all the charm of a limitless screen only when you use it: games, movies. Truly limitless. In black, it looks rich and attractive - you just want to hold it. As an Apple fan friend said, "Doesn't look like a piece of plastic. Let me hold it!" Outwardly longer, but Narrower than S7, because of this it is better held in hands, it even seems to me not as slippery as its predecessor. Covers / films are still on the way, but for 3 weeks of use I have not noticed scratches anywhere, although it may be because I treat them with care. I quickly got used to the fingerprint scanner at the back, it works without problems, the main thing is to write down the data correctly, from different angles. I don't use a retinal scanner. I didnβt notice any difference with the S7 in terms of filling / power / camera (maybe because I had it for less than six months): everything flies, the photos are pleasing, especially the autofocus on macro photography. Ringing very loud! The absence of the Home button took some getting used to, but accidental pressing "Back" or "Running applications" during the game is excluded. I had to buy an additional cable for work, since the old one, alas, does not fit anymore. There is an adapter included. Otherwise, it is similar to its predecessor: the speaker is from below, you can hear it always and everywhere, the volume rockers are separate - convenient. The headphone jack on top is not convenient. The edges are rounded, because of this, sometimes I press the fingers with which I hold the phone, which is not necessary. The cover will fix it. Of the far-fetched minuses, they obviously did not change the battery from the S7: if for that charging device with average use (messengers, social networks) it was enough for a whole calmly and still remained, then the new device eats a little more. But it charges quickly from the native charger. Well, the price: even with the exchange, you still had to pay extra for the phone, a hefty amount.
