They actually fit my Brita jug better than Brita replacement filters! About five years ago the Brita replacement filters I received didn't fit the tube properly (I have a jug that holds about 6 cups) so I had to remember to put the filter in the tube *EVERY TIME* , when I filled the container with water . If I forgot to lower the filter, the water would just bypass and not get filtered at all. Sometimes when I poured water from a jug into a jar, the filter would get out of control and it would slip out, hitting the jug lid and mostly causing me to spill water all over the place. Filters don't have this problem. I put the filter in place, gave it a little nudge, and it went right where it was supposed to be, forming a good seal so all the water had to flow through the filter, not around it, and stand up after dozens of fills he still. where it should be. I can't tell what the taste difference is between these filters and Brita brand filters. The filtration time is about the same. They filter the water well enough that I don't have to descale my espresso machine more often than with Brita brand filters. They cost less than Brita brand filters. I am 100% satisfied with these filters and will buy them again if I need more jug filters.
