Successfully upgraded my RLC-410WS to POE. I'm using a Netgear POE+ 8-port switch. All I had to do was unplug the 12V power to the camera from the wall, connect an active network cable to this adapter, connect power from the adapter to the camera, and connect ethernet from the adapter to the camera. Everything came as expected. The only question I really have is how long it will last. Needless to say, no power can create it out of thin air. You must have a POE switch or some sort of power injector to power the line.
