Review on Gillette Platinum Double Safety Blades by Brenda Joiner

These sheets are manufactured at the same location (actual address) as Astra SP Platinums. They may actually be the same blade, but they don't appear to be. They appear to be thinner than the current asters I use. However, Astras have been around for a few years. They appear to shave closer and are reasonably smooth. There is no nick yet. This is the best blade I've used so far. I also like asters. These work a little better. At $6.99/100, you can't go wrong with the Astra. I'm willing to pay more for them. They really seem to be holding their edge. So, Gillette Platunum #1 followed by Astras.
