Ruined my Seagate drive

I was pleased with the ease of installation but that doesn't matter as this enclosure not only didn't work but also ruined my drive. This Seagate hard drive was in perfect condition before installation. After that, all I got was a perfect click of death. As far as I can tell, the drive is now completely non-functional. I'm assuming based on other reviews that I received a faulty case block and that's what caused it to happen. But still: Thank you Tccmebius for toasting my journey.
