I have recently added honing abrasives to my Work Sharp 3000 system. I also have diamond wheels and all the accessories for the 3000 except for the knife sharpening case. I decided to use a separate knife sharpener from the cutting job. If you use good technique, you can get a clean, polished finish with diamond blades. I also use diamond stones and fine sandpaper up to 6000 grit depending on what tool I'm trying to sharpen. The honing discs along with the jigs available for the 3000 work well for me.
