I'll check this out as I've used it. So far I use it on 150 sqm. Feet were 5-8°F warmer than the rest of the house. . So far this unit has performed well. The ROPS is a spring-loaded button that is depressed by the weight of the device. So if it falls, a spring somewhere will release the switch and the power will be cut off immediately. I have a device on the shelf, this button isn't a problem, but I'll admit that it makes the device feel a bit "tired" than one might expect. It's not very heavy, and the spring makes it even less heavy. This can be corrected by lowering the k-factor of the spring or by placing the button closer to the center of the device as its position is slightly offset to a corner. (Note: possible manufacturer changes; I do not recommend trying this yourself). I don't see this as a huge disadvantage as you shouldn't place the heater on an unstable surface anyway, but remember it's a good idea to have a good footing under it and keep it away from potential traffic or flying objects. The same applies here: If it tips over, the power failure occurs immediately. The thermostat seems to work well and that was the main reason I chose this product (along with the fuses that came with it). As previously mentioned, when left on part power it keeps the room temperature 5-8°F warmer than the rest of the house. I had to experiment a bit with the thermostat position as there is no temperature marking on it, but I set it to about 30-35% of full scale. It appears to be a 70°F reference for the room size and R-value, which also means there's enough headroom for the unit to work harder than me. Also note that the packaging states slightly differently that this device is not designed for high duty cycle operation. . I don't think this works well in large rooms or something like a hunting curtain that is very see-through/open from the outside. It's designed for relatively small spaces with relatively little heat loss, so it doesn't have to run 100% of the time. I have not yet tested the overheat protection function and will not do so. Relying on the margin of safety is usually not the best plan anyway. In short, for a small space that just needs a little warming up, this works well. It seems simple and well made, especially for the low price. It has some security features that similarly priced models don't have, which is a plus. It's not quiet, but it's not intrusive either. Overall I'm happy with the purchase so far.
