I just bought one of the new Mac mini desktops with the new M1 chip and all of a sudden I had a problem installing two monitors. I also had way fewer I/O ports to work with, just 2 USB ports, 2 Thunderbolt/USB C ports, one HDMI and that was it. Very restrictive. Stepping into Jagrom's USB-C dock, I was able to easily add an additional monitor (one via the Mac's HDMI port, the other via Jagrom's HDMI port running through the Thunderbolt port). Works great, doesn't require an external power supply, maybe there are a few ports I'll never use, but I'm a happy camper. If you need even more USB ports, buy an additional USB hub, it works great when connected to a Jagrom hub.
