After carefully reading TONS of reviews on the many slow speed hay nets available I decided to buy this one. I'm glad I did! I originally ordered this for my mini pony, probably in March, who has been making a big mess with regular hay nets. It works GREAT! And recently we were surprisingly blessed with twin lambs and twins! So I gave my sheep a hay net which still works great for her and the lambs - no worries about heads getting caught! I just ordered a second one for my goat last week and don't worry about her or her kids getting heads! I hang them both about a foot off the ground and try to keep them full so there's no problem with little hooves getting caught! They are holding up very well so far!
