I bought this for a trip and wanted something a bit more theft proof and less able to pick pocket. It’s a good size to be able to carry essentials but not high school large book bag size. It’s not mini like a loungefly or purse backpack. Most of those mini backpacks also have shorter straps so it’s a tight fit to shoulder properly. I’m a plus girl so having straps long enough for my shoulders and not struggle to get the second strap over my arm is a big plus for this bag.It’s a buttery soft material. There was a slight odor that went away after a few days of airing out. Feels like a good backpack but I have yet to get to use it. If it is awful to use or breaks during my trip I will update.My only complaint/request for the manufacturer is: can we get a cut resistant fabric liner or something? The outer fabric while very nice will probably open easily with a blade slicing through it. If they could include a slash proof liner, the bag would keep the same look with more protection. I’d pay to buy it again if they upgraded.
