We've had this for a little over six months and have used it successfully maybe once or twice a week. It now shows three L's. The manual says the temperature is out of range when you see it. In my case it shows L when I open it and shows temp when I close it making it unusable. I wrote to Taylor and received no reply. So much for customer service. I'll ship it to Taylor with a one year guarantee and will update if I get good or bad results. As promised, here's an update: Firstly, I've changed my rating to five stars due to the wonderful return experience I had. with Taylor. Sometimes things just break, the hallmark of a great company is how they handle it. Taylor immediately sent me a new thermometer and the turnaround time was great. Hooray for them. You have a client with me. You can count on them to support their products.
