Ankle socks are the best in my rating
They are perfect for my 11 year old grandson. He wears size 5 tall boys shoes. I bought a medium sized shoe for my 8 year old who wears size 2 tall boys shoes. 9/11 would be huge for him - 7/8 1/2 should have been perfect. Washes and dries great.
