I have been baking, decorating and selling my own cakes for over 15 years. I'm addicted to cake tools and gadgets because there's never enough of them. My daughter showed interest and has real talent, so I wanted to get something I could use and that she could learn from. I ordered this set based on the amount of items you received. I rarely make buttercream cakes, but VERY often decorate them with fondant and sugarpaste. This set is AWESOME. The molds and presses are heavy duty plastic with a huge range of flowers, stars, leaves, four leaf clover, stars etc in every size you will ever need. The presses have a plunger so you can easily extrude your shape without tearing it off the non-stick surface and deforming it in the process. Fondant hand tools are good. The tips of the tools are made of heavy plastic and are easy to shape. The handles are a bit light and the tips fit snugly, but they pull out with a bit of pressure. The set contains 46 items (incorrectly quoted as 48 items in my video) and is excellent value for the beginner or intermediate user.
