Review on 🕴️ Classic Black Kit Cat Klock Gentlemen: The Original Timepiece You Need by Victor Hurvitz

At first I really liked this watch. I got it because it reminded me of an antique cat clock I used to see in kitchens a lot when I was growing up in the 60's. There's a slight tick-tock when the tail moves, but that didn't bother me. until it stopped a few months later. I restarted tail and it worked for a while (sometimes a few days) and then closed again. The clock will still work, although it's far from the most accurate clock in my house. The tail stopped after only 3 months of operation. Although both batteries tested 'good' on a battery tester, I have replaced the batteries with new ones - several times. With fresh batteries, I was able to keep the tail moving for a few more weeks, but then it died again. This is a common pattern seen over the past few months, so I don't think the watch will ever be reliable. Without the tail moving, it's just another plastic watch. The motionless tail is just a daily reminder that product quality isn't the same these days. I can live with the plastic look and feel of the watch but I am very disappointed that it no longer works properly. I took great care to ensure that it fitted perfectly to the wall. You'll quickly know where that point is because the tail won't work for more than a minute or two if the balance isn't right. I cannot recommend this product to anyone, but I don't know of any other reliable alternative.
