I was so upset that my family lost their dough hook because of our beloved KSM5 Kitchen Aid. I always keep things together, so I finally gave up. I still have a gray one but I like the white one. When it appeared I decided to get it. COLOR It's definitely white. SHAPE The shape is similar but not quite the same. Although they are close. What I didn't find is that the end is a blunt cut end, not rounded like the original. FEATURES The performance of this test hook seems to be consistent with the previous one I had. He works and does what he has to do. CONCLUSION: This dough hook is a great replacement if you lost your original one. It has the same non-stick coating and shape. The ending isn't rounded like the original, which I like better, but I'm sure most people wouldn't mind too much. MY RATES ARE FIVE STARS. It works and does what it's supposed to. I DON'T BELIEVE IT WROTE IT and went in search of something that fell at the bottom of a very large memory pile that we must go through in our perpetual renovation of our home. I got up on my head in a heap, guess what I found! Yes, originally. So now I have three dough hooks. Two additions. My husband said you can make coat hooks which I've been looking for for two months - large coat hooks which I bought. HAHAHA moment. will it be? (Grin)
