This is a simple, comfortable and stylish shoe. The velcro looks very nice and offers a large opening for your foot, especially when it's swollen. The surprise was that it came with a very thick memory foam padding in the shoe and two extra flat sets which I actually preferred and replaced. Is there a downside? I think not if your feet are often swollen. The shoes are wide and a little loose if feet don't swell. However, I have found that a good pair of socks is great for a perfect fit.
