I measured my dog afterwards and took the larger size because his chest was larger than the smaller size allowed and I didn't want it to be crowded. However, there is no real zipper on the chest, so I didn't have to. This thing is huge (see video), but it's fun to watch as it wanders around the house in it. This item has two armholes for the front legs and three velcro straps around the torso. Since mine is so big it's hard to carry, but I think it will work if it fits. The material is very cheap, almost like felt, like a ready made Halloween costume. The fur sheds a bit and the moment I opened it my dog ate a cotton ball off the bear's head. All in all for the price I paid (with the opened package discount) it's worth the laughs we get.
