I spent a whole day trying to get this to work. Just for the record, I'm pretty tech savvy. I can make almost anything work and I gave everything I had. I read articles online, watched YouTube videos and when nothing worked I tried a lot. My MacBook Pro didn't connect to the device configuration page at all. I finally got the old Windows 7 machine up and connected to it. Sometimes - and even that was totally unreliable. Sometimes it connected, sometimes not. Once I could connect it to the hotspot - same thing. Sometimes it connected, sometimes not. Sometimes he had normal speed. Sometimes it had almost no speed at all, but once connected to an access point, the configuration page became even more unreliable, so trying to figure out what went wrong was usually utter guesswork. It was so finicky that I finally decided to just return it and be done with it. It also cannot connect at speeds over 100Mbps. Normally this wouldn't be a problem as this thing probably won't exceed those speeds, but one of my other devices only connects at 1Gbps or more - and this is the device I wanted to use. with this. But I finally found a way around this hurdle, but the uncertainties caused the deal to fall through. No one could say I didn't try!
