The middle part of this accessory is actually made of a flexible, rubber-like material. It is difficult to control the direction of its flex due to its lack of rigidity. For some purposes, like cleaning baseboards or sliding glass door tracks, I have to use my other hand to bend them in the right direction. I was expecting a semi-rigid material whose flex can be controlled by simply operating the Triflex HX1 Pro from the main handle. By design, I can't vacuum the sides of my built-in fridge as hard as I'd like. I'm not sure how often I'll be using this accessory.
