I order a pack of 20 of these and 6 came with broken lids (1 lid broken on 6 containers) so I asked for a replacement. I had to wait to get a replacement before sending back the original 20 which I got back because the 1st had already started using them and only found broken ones until I got to the middle of the box - and if the second pack also which contained broken I had to take at least 6 from the new pack that were not broken to get a full set of undamaged containers. The new box had more lids broken than the original box so I bet that it was not damaged in shipping - this is a manufacturer fault and they should fix it as soon as possible. It's extremely annoying when something like this happens. I understand things break on crashes but not twice and not with a lid on each container if I broke a lid in a container which means I can't use eight. Coupé, if I needed seven storage compartments, I would buy the one with seven, not eight. The only reason I'm not giving this two stars is because I got a replacement quickly. not eight.
