I bought these (along with a matching sewing machine storage product) to help organize all my sewing concepts. This is a good product, but there is one major downside. My old sewing basket had a removable tray that held all of my threads. It didn't (hence 4 stars). But it just so happened that I had a deli container that was designed for packaging bacon. But I found it perfect for this container (see photo). While it's perfect. It's not very big, but I don't need much.
