Bought to use when traveling with my iPad 9 x 12". I asked the seller if it would fit and he was sure it would fit even on a 14". -Laptop would fit, so yes. Will close about 12". long iPad. The iPad ONLY fits in this case and the latches on ONE side only can be locked when the device is in the case. PROS: Although the case doesn't have a proper closure over the iPad as the straps are there. &-o-ring criss-crossing the hole I think if you carry a backpack it's just as secure as it is in a bag that closes (meaning no one can pull the iPad out of the bag until you do have the straps to pull.) I just wouldn't want to carry the iPad in this case in the rain or snow as the device doesn't allow the case to fully close around it. It would fit a smaller iPad and close snugly op Definitely nothing over 12 inches fits in, and for it to close properly (by snapping on both sides) you can't put anything over 10 inches in your pocket. The seller must correct this information in the listing due to ERROR/DISHONESTY. This is a beautiful bag. The seller must be honest about the limitations of the bag.
