The vertical "legs" holding the top ring to the bottom ring were already broken, so they returned the money to me, they told me to throw it away. I broke off the bottom ring very easily with my hands and threw it away and now I just put it on the gas stove. The few remaining vertical pieces prevent it from sliding or rotating. First of all this is a bad design, it still wouldn't be stable on a burner with such a large bottom ring. Thanks to the very cheap breaking of cast iron, it is now used as a flame spreader. I don't expect it to last long and now that it's broken it's ugly. So avoid again. It's scrap iron.
