This hose looks beautiful. It's lightweight, super flexible, which is great for air tubing. A rigid air hose is difficult to use, but sometimes you lose strength by picking up light weight. Hybrid I'm not sure what they mean. It's like rubber tubing, possibly reinforced with nylon. They say it's PVC, okay, PVC rubber material. The ends have kink protection, which is essential for any type of hose. This is a 3/8" hose with 1/4" fittings on each end. I hooked it up to some Amazon Basics air hose fittings and hooked it up to my air compressor. The hose looks good, holds pressure and performs as expected. Since it's thin and light, I'll have to wait for time and tell the story of how durable it is. Now my biggest criticism with this hose. This stuff smells TOXIC! It's so strong it made my whole garage stink! It smells like a mixture of burnt rubber and skunk, but it's a strong chemical smell. The smell is so strong that it almost completely put me off. I highly recommend opening this OUTSIDE and letting it air out in the sun for a few days to air out. The smell is so awful you have to wonder if it's even safe to breathe! After a few days, the smell was mostly gone. However, it still smells a little, so be careful when buying. It will break your socks, but it can also be a good cheap alternative. The good news is that with a 50ft hose, you get a long reach in one simple solution. Once aired, it works great and doesn't cost too bad.
