Keys no longer get lost in devices

This is our introduction (haha) to the keyless entry area for standard doors. We had a previous latch and doorknob combo that had rusted to minimal functionality in the Florida sun and seas. Installation was straightforward and took around 15 minutes, most of which was flexing the large touchpad to align the front, back and sides for smooth operation. The instructions with the diagrams were clear enough to get it right the first time without having to repeat it. During use, light and sound signals help confirm the locking and unlocking mechanics. We opted for automatic locking of one door and manual locking of the other door. No Bluetooth or Wi-Fi, but it was probably a more expensive model with a shorter battery life. The guide states that we will be warned when the battery life is over. There is no confirmation yet. The look is sharp if you make sure the gasket is in place before tightening the knot. Simple passwords that can be easily changed from the default for security reasons. No external lighting is required at night as the self-illuminating buttons are fully visible and functional. We are considering additional devices for the parent's home to make it easier for them to get in and out. Very happy with the quality, price, features and features.
